What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Residential Supervisor position at Bay-Arenac Behavioral Health?
General Description
Assists the Residential Supervisor with the daily operation of the specialized residential home and other independent residences supported by the residential technicians. Assists the Residential Supervisor with staff scheduling and performance monitoring, residence maintenance, record-keeping, staff training, and assuring that individual service plans are implemented by staff according to agency, state, and federal standards. Provides coverage in the absence of the Residential Supervisor. Provides direct supports for people living in BABH-staffed residences. Shift is 3PM - 11PM.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in social work with LBSW credential or related degree in human services field with applicable credential/licensure is preferred. A minimum of three years of experience in a residential treatment setting providing services to persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or mental illnesses is required. Must have experience implementing behavior treatment plans and providing services to individuals in residential or community living arrangements. Supervisory experience in a residential setting preferred. Must display initiative, judgment and leadership skills; must understand self-determination, culture of gentleness, and person-centered thinking as well as cultural sensitivity. Experience with basic office machinery, including personal computers, is required
