Bay Area Trash Compactor is currently searching for driven B2B Outside Sales Representatives to lift renewed commercial recycling, waste management and composting equipment company to new heights. Armed with the highest quality, proven, yet unique waste reduction solutions (Compactors, Balers, Recycling Equipment) delivering a rapid ROI for our customers, and backed by a reputable service-oriented company standing behind every relationship, the Sales Pro will become a respected resource in their field.
Founded in 1985, Bay Area Trash Compactor’s genesis was a college business plan to reduce commercial solid waste. Forty years later, we have supplied sustainability expertise and hundreds of trash compactors, cardboard balers, and recycling equipment to everyone from McDonald’s and Starwood Resorts to Kaiser Hospitals and Apple Computer, each customer saving $10,000’s annually through our common-sense approach.
What can we offer YOU?
- Base salary plus commission- can deliver income over $70,000-$90,000 first year
- Work in the field, our Concord Office, and from your home office
- Must have reliable transportation
- You will receive $600/m reimbursement for Auto and Office
- We will provide a phone and computer
- Bonuses available based on exceeding sales targets

As an Outside Sales Representative you will be making in-person cold calls to target and logical field prospects within your territory to discover needs and share proven solutions. Target markets include any business who generates high volumes of trash/recyclables: Hotels, Restaurants, Office Buildings, Apartment Complexes, Healthcare Facilities, School Districts, Universities, Shopping Centers, Theaters, Manufacturers/Distribution Warehouses, Wineries, Municipalities and many more.
Sales territories we are currently seeking:
- East, North, and South Bay
- SF and Peninsula
- Monterey/Santa Cruz
