What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Department Support position at Bay Area Transport Refrigeration?
Hayward Transport Refrigeration/ Trailer Repair Shop seeks experienced
Parts Department Support staff member who is self-motivated and efficient when needing to source parts for specific repairs as well as able to perform all functions of busy parts department. Must be organized and able to accurately handle associated paperwork. Will work as primary assistance and backup to existing parts employees. Will be primary person responsible for parts deliveries and picking up parts from local vendors as well as receiving and shelving orders. Must be able to maintain organization in the department and proactively assess needs for changes in parts organization to meet the needs of department
Requirements:
Experience purchasing/procuring parts for similar industry/repair setting
Knowledge of Purchase Orders and Order Receiving
Job will require driving for parts pick-up or delivery - must be able to be insured on company policy (vehicle provided).
Ability to process paperwork accurately and efficiently

Position is Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Position includes Medical/Dental, Vacation, Sick Time and 401k benefit options after probationary period.
