Bay Area Training Academy (BATA) is one of the premier EMT schools in the Bay Area, offering a dynamic and engaging work environment. Our academy provides intensive eight- and five-week courses leading to a certificate in Emergency Medical Technician-Basic, incorporating a blend of hands-on skills-based scenarios and a traditional academic curriculum aligned with State and National requirements for EMT certification.

Location: Alameda, Ca located near Oakland Airport

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general administrative duties.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, voice mail, and emails.
  • Assist in the student enrollment process.
  • Manage prospect student tracking and follow-up.
  • Track and file important documents.
  • Assist with post-graduation follow-up for students' certificates and job placement.
  • Coordinate student Ride Alongs.
  • Maintain the company's social media accounts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of office administrative support experience.
  • Comfortable with phone communication.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal, persuasive, written/verbal communication, planning, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • High school diploma.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
