What are the responsibilities and job description for the Embedded Linux Engineer position at Bay Area Tek Solutions LLC?
We are looking for USC and GC candidates only
Hands-on experience in using embedded Linux (Yocto/ OpenEmbedded or buildroot)
· Develop & port embedded linux applications, custom device drivers, libraries
· Configure, modify, and integrate the kernel and embedded boot loaders.
· Experience in using U-Boot, Linux kernel configuration and Device tree.
· Experience in custom driver porting and applying patches to legacy packages.
· Development and migration of existing systems to Yocto-based platforms
· Design and develop the automation to validate the builds in the CI/CD pipeline
· Maintain and support the Yocto build system in a CI/CD environment, including packaging and deployment of software images.
· Experience in creating images for different hardware platforms
