We are growing our B2B sales team and are seeking an experienced sales professional who wants to build a long-term book of business in an industrial, relationship-driven sales environment.
Position Overview
We are hiring a B2B Propane Sales Representative to generate new business and manage commercial propane accounts. This is a field sales position operating out of our Oakland, CA office and requires in-person customer engagement.
The ideal candidate has experience in outside sales, industrial sales, fuel sales, or commercial services sales, and is comfortable with proactive prospecting and recurring account management.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new commercial and industrial propane customers
- Conduct outside sales activities including site visits, cold outreach, and follow-ups
- Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline
- Close new recurring propane accounts
- Work directly with warehouse managers, operations managers, and business owners
- Coordinate with internal operations and dispatch teams to support customers
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity tracking
- Grow existing accounts through relationship management and service expansion
Qualifications
- 3 years of B2B sales experience (industrial sales, fuel sales, logistics, fleet services, or related industries preferred)
- Experience in outside sales, territory sales, or field sales
- Proven ability to generate new business through prospecting and cold outreach
- Comfortable selling recurring or consumption-based services
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
This role is not remote. Candidates must be able to work from the Oakland office and in the field.
