What are the responsibilities and job description for the APRN Full- Time position at BAY AREA INFECTIOUS DISEASE ASSOCIATES?
Bay Area ID Associates is growing and we are adding another APRN to our Practice.
The PA/APRN would be responsible for the following:
- Complete check in and check out of patient appointment in ECW
- Initiate, monitor, and discontinue infusion sessions
- Ensure all required documentation is completed in patients’ chart at end of each infusion session
- Draw appropriate lab work according to physician orders, as needed
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment, following all state and federal guidelines
- Familiar with IV lines, such as PICC, Midline catheter, SC Medport, tunneled catheter, and maintenance requirements
- Teach and Train patients for home care IV, IVPB, eclipse device(ball), CADD Pump
- EMR experience, eClinicalWorks ideal
- CPR/ACLS Certified
- Bilingual Spanish helpful, but no required
- Rounding at assigned hospitals
- On-Call rotations/weekends
- Seeing patients in office & at skilled nursing facilities
- Infectious Disease or Pulmonary exp preferred
