What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner position at BAY AREA HEART CENTER?
Bay Area Heart Center, is seeking a well-rounded and highly motivated Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP/PA) to join our team of 15 cardiovascular specialists and 4 current APP’s.
Manage and coordinate the healthcare of cardiology patients, which will contain both outpatient and inpatient work. Join a team that excels at patient delivery and care!
Key responsibilities include performing relevant outpatient evaluations and assessments and provide appropriate treatment. Coordinate, direct, and implement the patient’s plan of care. Maintain appropriate records, and prepare chart documentation for review and counter signature by the physician. Perform within the scope of practice prescribed by licensure and certification. This position also includes stress testing oversight as a responsibility and sought after experience.. On-site physician support is provided daily.
This is a full time opportunity and will include a weekend call rotation.
Must be licensed in the state of FL.
Cardiology experience required, Electrophysiology experience a plus.
BLS/ACLS required.
