What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Clerk - Coos Bay position at Bay Area Enterprises?
Location: Coos Bay, OR - 2 -3 days per week (approx 10-15 hrs)
The Administrative Clerk has the following job responsibilities:
- This position requires daily interaction with the public and is highly customer service oriented.
- Tasks include assisting customers, applicants and employees with questions, and customer service phone calls,
- Reception duties including, answering phone calls, call transfers, and greeting lobby visitors in a professional manner.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean reception area including basic routine end of day clean up.
- Refill and maintain guest coffee area, notify administrative team of items that need to be ordered.
- Fingerprinting offer excellent customer service while completing digital fingerprinting services.
- General administrative duties such as, filing, using the copier, recording data on spreadsheets, and correspondence including email and faxes. Requires daily use of a computer, the internet, telephone, copiers, Microsoft office, online portals, and email.
- Assist administrative team with special projects.
- The administrative clerk is expected to follow instructions, company rules and policies, ask questions when help is needed, and complete assigned projects as instructed.
- Adheres to strict confidentiality and privacy practices, including HIPAA where applicable.
- All other duties as assigned to ensure that the department and organizational strategic goals and mission are met.
Required Qualifications
- Previous office experience preferred but not required.
- Valid Oregon driver's license or reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass federal, state, and local background checks
- Must pass drug screen (THC testing not included) to include random drug testing
