Bay Area Ballet Conservatory is seeking an experienced Primary Division Instructor for the 2026/2027 School Session.
Schedule
- Tuesdays: 4:00pm–6:45pm
- Saturdays: 9:00am–11:30am
- School Session Dates: August 17, 2026 – June 13, 2027
Additional teaching opportunities and extended hours will likely be available during Summer 2026 programming. Candidates may be hired as early as June 2026.
Primary Division Classes Include
- Pre Ballet (Ages 3–5)
- Level 1A (Ages 5–7)
- Level 1B (Ages 6–8)
- Parent & Me Ballet (Ages 2–3)
Responsibilities
- Teaching Primary Division ballet classes
- Creating recital choreography for assigned classes
- Implementing school class plans and syllabi
- Communicating regularly with the Director
Qualifications
Candidates should:
- Have an extensive classical ballet training background
- Be receptive to training and feedback
- Possess excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Have reliable transportation
- Most importantly, have a genuine love for working with young children
Compensation begins at $52 per hour, and is dependent on experience.
Bay Area Ballet Conservatory is conveniently located just off Highway 101 at South Airport Boulevard.
