Scope of Job: This position is responsible for product line schedule and provides guidance to personnel in processes of assembly. The incumbent will enforce company policies and procedures, assigns work to team members and is able to run area efficiently and suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work cell employees.

Experience: 1 – 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Physical Requirements: Requires prolonged standing, squatting, and walking. May lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs.
Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities
- Maintains stations to assembly, align, adjust components, or units according to specification and follows established manufacturing procedures.
- Verify material and palled ID description matches and are accurate to consumption paperwork per schedule, document all material used for traceability. Escalate any discrepancies noticed.
- Line set-up prior to production employee is responsible for gathering all materials needed for schedule, setting up Assembly line to requirements, and completing any supporting documentation needed for the production schedule.
- Rotate lot inventory. Ensure inventory is being used per FIFO to help maintain accurate traceability records.
- Accurate labor reporting for line associates (10-20, line depending) at start, lunch, and end times.
- Allocate employees training labor hours.
- Assist leadership with identifying candidate to train in skilled positions.
- Assist in trainings training employees and report progress to management.
- Place, train and continuous coaching to employees in various assembly positions.
- Backup resource for employee during breaks.
- Collaborate with production and support departments to ensure food safety and the quality of our products.
- Other duties as assigned.
