Travel ER RN

Position Summary

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse provides high-quality, rapid assessment and evidence-based emergency care to patients of all ages presenting with acute and complex medical conditions. The RN works collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced ED environment to deliver timely, safe, and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform triage, rapid patient assessment, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring in a high-volume Emergency Department.
• Manage a wide range of emergent conditions, including trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and pediatric cases.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols and standards.
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation, order entry, and care coordination.
• Respond effectively to critical situations and initiate emergency procedures as required.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and additional clinical teams to ensure seamless and safe patient care.
• Float to Addison Gilbert Hospital ED as needed.
• Maintain compliance with departmental and hospital policies, safety regulations, and professional standards.

Schedule & Orientation

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week.
• Orientation: Biweekly dates (e.g., 12/01, 12/15, 12/19).
• Day-One Testing:
• Onsite pass/fail exam on first day of orientation (1 attempt only).
• Relias testing: 2 attempts allowed during onboarding to prepare for onsite test.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (pending MA license accepted at time of submission).
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience.
• EPIC experience required.
• Certifications required:
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• Ability to provide safe, effective care to diverse patient populations, including pediatrics.
• Must be willing to float to nearby facilities as needed.

Pay: $2,800.00 - $2,890.00 per week
