SUMMARY: The Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for developing and executing communications on behalf of Baxter Health and Baxter Health Fulton County Hospital across multiple platforms of written and digital publications, web, and social media. This includes (but is not limited to): community relations, creative storytelling, copywriting, press release writing, content creation, project management, event management, meeting coordination, photography, videography, vendor relations, provider relations, and marketing team support. The ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with teams in media relations, communications, marketing and other departments is essential. Must be proactive and demonstrate good personal presentation, reliability, discipline, resourcefulness, creativity, good judgment, common sense and integrity.
BAXTER HEALTH COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Understands and adheres to Baxter Health standards as they appear in Dynamic Health and Healthstream Policy Manager.
Required to work with the VP/Marketing & Communications regularly to carryout, initiate and/or implement best practices for the Baxter Health Marketing Department.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Communications or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary.
Experience: Minimum five (5) years of experience in marketing (preferably in healthcare)

Work Environment
Work is performed both inside and outside the hospital office environment. This position allows remote work if needed. Some travel is required.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a position in a hospital setting which is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Flexible work schedule, 5 days a week, Monday – Friday and some weekends will be required.
