SUMMARY: The Accounting Specialist will maintain a computerized paperless Accounting and Accounts Payable system according to established policies and procedures. Duties must be performed accurately and efficiently to ensure accurate financial statements. Duties include bank reconciliations, journal entry preparation and entry, vendor maintenance, processing check requests and purchase orders ("PO"), verifying travel and various reporting. Must be organized, detail oriented, analytical and able to meet deadlines and handle confidential information.
BAXTER HEALTH COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Understands and adheres to Baxter Health standards as they appear in Dynamic Health and Healthstream Policy Manager and Baxter Health Fulton County Hospital health files.
Required to work with the Controller regularly to carryout, initiate and/or implement best practices for the Baxter Health Fulton County Hospital team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: (3) years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Other: Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Word, computerized accounts payable and general ledger system using scanning and data entry

Flexible work schedule, 5 days a week, Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts.
