Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Day-to-day first line supervision of manufacturing employees in an automotive injection mold environment, balances labor according to workload, assures that safety, quality, and environmental procedures are being followed, responsible for leading, motivating, coaching, mentoring, and treating workforce with respect, maintaining confidentiality, holds shift communication meetings, responsible for production schedule attainment, controlling scrap, downtime, OEE, and labor utilization, respond proactively with a high sense of urgency, using good judgement to make sound decisions, continually monitors work flow and productivity, supports 6S efforts, verifies training of employees, creates and maintains various types of reports, charts, graphs, production data, enforces policies, administers disciplinary actions, conducts performance reviews, interacts with other departments, various levels of management, and plant visitors.
