Summary of the Position :
The EDI / ERP Manager is a critical operational and technology leadership role responsible for the endtoend ownership of Baxter's CMS ERP and EDI ecosystem. This role serves as the primary bridge between executive leadership, finance, operations, logistics, and technology partners, ensuring that all ERP and EDI processes support reliable, compliant, and ondemand production and shipping execution.
This position is accountable for architecting, configuring, monitoring, and continuously improving ERP and EDI workflows to ensure proactive issue detection, particularly for ASN, shipping, and labeling transactions. The role is highly handson, operationally focused, and vendorcollaborative, with direct engagement alongside Awecomm, CMS technology partners, and customers.
QualificationsExperience
Required
- Proven experience owning or leading ERP and EDI systems in a manufacturing, automotive, or supplychaindriven environment. (Preference for CMS)
- Strong understanding of EDI transaction sets (e.g., ASNs, shipping, labeling, invoicing).
- Experience supporting OEM or Tier1/Tier2 automotive customers.
- Ability to translate executivelevel business needs into technical and operational system solutions.
- Handson troubleshooting experience with ERP/EDI integrations and transactional failures.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage executives, operators, and vendors effectively.
- Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Must be able to manage and maintain confidential information and maintain the highest ethics
- Must maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Must be able to be physically onsite to work and must be able to travel as needed
Preferred
- Background in manufacturing operations, logistics, or supply chain execution.
- Experience designing dashboards, controls, and proactive monitoring for transactional systems.
- Familiarity with audit, compliance, and customer scorecard requirements in automotive environments.
- 5-10 years of combination of experience and education, with a bachelor's degree highly desired.
