About Baxter Dental Center

Baxter Dental Center is an independently owned private dental practice that has served Baraboo and the surrounding communities since 1953. Our office combines a long-established patient base with modern dental technology, including CBCT imaging, digital radiography, digital charting, intraoral scanners and cameras, endodontic equipment, and the Straumann implant system. We are also continuing to expand the services and technologies available within the practice.

We have a large, established patient base, including individuals and families who have trusted our office for generations. Our patients are kind, appreciative, and receptive to thoughtful treatment recommendations. We emphasize honest communication, quality dentistry, and long-term patient relationships rather than high-pressure treatment.

That same sense of loyalty extends to our team. Many employees have been with the practice for decades, and staff turnover is exceptionally low. Our team members genuinely care about one another, take pride in the practice, and are committed to serving our patients well.

A new dentist will be welcomed into a cooperative environment where the team will assist with patient introductions, scheduling, transitions, and building a productive long-term patient base.

Why Baraboo?

Baraboo is a welcoming and growing community where a dentist can build meaningful patient relationships and a successful long-term career. It offers a relaxed and affordable lifestyle while remaining within convenient driving distance of Madison.

The area is known for its natural beauty, outdoor recreation, and nearby attractions, including Devil’s Lake State Park and the Wisconsin Dells. It is an excellent fit for someone who values community, work-life balance, and access to outdoor activities while remaining close to the amenities of a larger city.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a caring, confident, and patient-focused associate dentist to join our practice. This opportunity is well-suited for either an experienced dentist or a newer graduate seeking mentorship and professional growth.

You will have clinical autonomy while working alongside an experienced and supportive team. With an established patient base and continued demand for care, the right dentist will have the opportunity to build a consistently busy and productive schedule.

  • Diagnose dental conditions and explain treatment options clearly and honestly
  • Develop treatment plans centered on each patient’s needs and goals

  • Build trust and rapport with patients

  • Collaborate with hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative team members
  • Contribute to a welcoming, organized, and team-oriented practice environment
