This internship offers a hands-on opportunity for students and early-career professionals to gain meaningful experience in craft beer marketing and sales. As a Brand Ambassador, you’ll act as a key representative of the Baxter Brewing brand at public events, support local sales efforts, and contribute to our growing presence across Maine. Ambassadors will also complete a focus-based project aligned with their interests in marketing or sales, with support and feedback from the Baxter team.
Ambassadors interact directly with customers, lead tastings, support sales visibility, and elevate Baxter’s presence across Maine. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with people and delivering memorable tasting experiences.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers and event attendees to promote our brand and products effectively
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
- Collect data during events to analyze customer preferences and feedback
- Manage social media accounts by creating engaging content and interacting with followers
- Assist in event marketing efforts, including setting up displays and promotional materials
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns professionally
- Support branding initiatives through consistent messaging and presentation
- Participate in public speaking engagements to educate audiences about our products and services
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the success of promotional campaigns
Skills
- Experience in food service or customer-facing roles is a plus
- Strong data collection skills for tracking engagement metrics and feedback
- Proficiency in social media management platforms and content creation
- Sales experience with the ability to persuade and influence audiences
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable for reaching diverse communities
