Job Description

As a Handyman for Bax Homeworks, you will be a key player in our mission to provide comprehensive home maintenance and repair services. You will travel to various residential job sites to perform a variety of tasks, ensuring each project is completed with a high level of quality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Executing a wide range of repairs, installations, and general maintenance tasks.
• Performing basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and drywall repairs.
• Installing and repairing fixtures, such as lighting, faucets, and doors.
• Painting, patching, and other cosmetic improvements.
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues to determine the best course of action.
• Communicating effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Managing and prioritizing multiple work orders to ensure timely completion.
• Managing customer invoices to make sure that the company is paid for services provided
• Receive incoming calls from customers

Qualifications

To be a successful Handyman at Bax Homeworks, you should possess a strong work ethic, a diverse skill set, and a passion for problem-solving. We require:

• Proven experience as a handyman or in a similar skilled trades role.
• A strong working knowledge of various maintenance and repair tasks, including basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
• Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and interact professionally with clients.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Pay, Schedule, and Benefits

• Schedule: Full time 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m 4 day work weeks!
