What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Production Supervisor position at Bauderer Packaging?
- Responsible for the end to end production process for specific production lines.
- Ensures line set ups are ready for production (Checkweighers, X-Ray systems, date coders, case coders, etc..) in accordance with QA specifications.
- Ensures that all finished goods meet or exceed quality specifications.
- Ensures all materials, WIP, and finished goods are accurately entered into Pack Manager (Inventory System).
- Responsible for accurately recording scrap rates, reconciling discrepancies and tracking work orders in Pack Manager.
- Responsible for having proper headcount on the production lines.
- Ensures all line staff receive proper training.
- Ensures that all line staff adhere to the company GMP policy.
- Coordinates with maintenance during mechanical failures.
- Coordinates with the production managers regarding scheduling, sanitation and line set ups.
- Prepares pallet tags, labels and any other information necessary for finished goods.
- Enters finished goods into Pack Manager.
- Records all relevant production information and reports it to the production manager daily.
- Other duties as assigned by management. Ex (Safety Coordinator)
