Baucom’s Nursery Company - General Laborer
Baucom's Nursery Company is looking to hire general labor workers for both of our farms (Charlotte, NC and Concord, NC). These positions are seasonal, full-time positions with performance-based incentives that could potentially turn them into permanent positions. These positions would be required to work the scheduled hours Monday-Friday and on Saturdays.
Job Description:
- Pulling plant orders
- Weeding of plants
- Fertilizing plants
- Consolidating plants
- Setting plants out
- Potting plants
- Helping with projects that may come up
Job Requirements:
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and daily
- Must be dependable and show up for work on time
- Must be able to work posted hours
- Must be able to physically stand, walk, and stoop/bend for extended periods of time
- Must be able to adapt to changing weather conditions and environments
