What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanic Mobile Equip position at Battletown Materials LLC?
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine, preventative, and scheduled maintenance on mobile and heavy equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
- Operate cranes and other lifting equipment as required
- Perform welding and fabrication based on drawings, specifications and original designs
- Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure clear communication and efficient operations
- Maintain safe work practices in compliance with MSHA regulations
- Follow all safety procedures to prevent accidents and moving violations
- Maintain good housekeeping, including equipment appearance, workspaces and shop areas
- Perform additional maintenance-related duties as assigned

Experience
Preferred- 3 - 5 years: 3-5 years of maintenance or heavy equipment mechanic experience preferred Aggregate industry experience and familiarity with related equipment strongly preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Welding and fabrication proficiency required Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written) Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Willingness to work overtime and weekends as production demands require
