Battle Tested Security is a fast growing security event management company headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland and operating in ten markets nationwide. BTS continuously adapts to the ever changing industry for many client bases, local and international, for sporting and music events.
Position Summary:
Event Staff provides safety, security, and customer service to the guests, tenants, and staff assigned to events. Event Staff employed by Battle Tested Security will assist local public safety agencies in the performance of their duties in providing service to the surrounding community as it affects the event.
Essential Functions:

Control access to the property by verifying credentials and authorizing entry/exit

Monitor and secure all designated access points to prevent unauthorized entry

Conduct routine foot patrols to ensure the safety and security of the premises

Maintain a visible security presence to deter suspicious or unauthorized activity

Observe and report any suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or irregularities

Enforce site policies and procedures consistently and professionally

Respond to incidents and promptly report details to supervisors or leadership

Perform duties at primarily standing posts, with movement as required for patrols and access control

Communicate clearly and effectively with team members, visitors, and management

Maintain strong situational awareness while on duty

Assist with general property security operations as assigned

Qualifications:-
A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalent

1 - 2 years of related work experience is preferred

Fluency in written and spoken English

Ability to maintain patron, employee, and company confidentiality

Ability to memorize, recollect, and quickly retrieve relevant information for incidents

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended time periods up to 12 hours

Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours

Able to lift, carry, and/or move up to 50 pounds, as needed

Must be available to work non-traditional hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
