Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our cinema. This leadership role is essential in ensuring smooth operations, exceptional guest service, and a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all patrons. The Assistant Manager will be hands-on in managing staff, supporting technical and maintenance operations, and working key shifts—including weekends and evenings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead by example to deliver outstanding guest service at all times.
• Manage employee shifts and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
• Train and coach team members to maintain high levels of motivation and service excellence.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety codes.
• Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the facility.
• Support staff in all roles as needed, including preparing and showing films.
• Maintain accurate inventory through monthly physical counts and effective stock control.
• Make informed decisions to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Provide technical support and assist with basic maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a food or hospitality establishment.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Commitment to working at least one closing shift on a weekend night.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, email, POS systems).
• Self-motivated with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Ability to understand and follow simple verbal and written instructions.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, move, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Capable of repetitive motion and lifting/carrying items up to 50 lbs.
• Able to handle larger items such as boxes and equipment as needed.
