What We’re Looking For:

·          Compassionate, detail-oriented, and collaborative nursing professionals

·          Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a Level III NICU

·          Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 1 year of hire

·          Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing Certification encouraged/preferred

What You Will Do:

Coordinate patient care processes including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in collaboration with the patient, family, physician, and appropriate support services for neonates in our Level III NICU.

·          Conduct comprehensive physical, psychosocial, functional, and nutritional assessments

·          Determine nursing diagnoses and identify expected outcomes based on patient condition

·          Develop and regularly update an individualized interdisciplinary plan of care

·          Implement nursing interventions, ensuring timely administration of treatments and medications

·          Provide direct and delegated patient care, maintaining oversight and accountability

·          Educate patients and families and coordinate discharge planning

·          Continuously evaluate patient progress and modify care plans as needed

·          Demonstrate proficiency in managing care of high-risk neonates per NAN, AAP, and department guidelines

·          Follow protocols for infant security and administer procedural sedation safely and effectively
