Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Box Truck Driver to join our dynamic logistics team! Duties
- Safely operate box trucks for local and regional deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries
- Assist with warehouse activities including inventory management, stock organization, and moving shipments
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery records for accountability
- You will be touching freight, loading and unloading. This is not a no touch job.
Requirements
- Valid CLASS D LICENSE with a clean driving record
- Clean Background Record
- Must pass drug screen
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with box trucks or similar vehicles
- Strong knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and heavy lifting techniques
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently
- Experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with professional communication abilities
- Physical stamina for lifting heavy items and performing moving tasks throughout the day
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to cargo handling
