Position Summary:
The road supervisor provides field leadership, operational oversight, and on - scene support to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality EMS service delivery. This role serves as the primary link between field crews and agency leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support EMS crews during daily operations and major incidents
- Monitor systems status and units deployment to maintain coverage
- Assist with Scheduling and Billing
- Respond to High-acuity calls and provide on -scene guidance
- Assist with training, coaching, and quality improvements efforts
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, hospitals, and partner agencies
- Enforce safety standards and agency policies.
Qualifications
- Current NYS EMT
- 3 plus years of EMS field experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem- solving skills
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
