Bath Makeover of the Ozarks is the Natural State's trusted source for bathtubs, showers, and walk in tubs. Locally owned with an American made product, Bath Makeover of the Ozarks is growing fast and looking to expand our staff.
A Design Consultant is responsible for generating new business, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and assist in guiding clients through potions of the remodeling process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sales Development & Lead Generation: Run Design Consultations with potential customers as scheduled. Proactively prospect new clients through various channels (referrals, networking, online leads, etc.) and follow up on inbound inquiries.
- Client Consultation: Meet with clients to assess their Bath Remodeling needs, offer design consultations, and provide detailed project proposals. Educate clients on remodeling options, budgeting, and timelines.
- Negotiation & Closing: Guide clients through contract negotiation and finalize sales. Ensure all documentation is accurate and complete for successful project handoff to the operations team.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest Bath Remodeling trends, materials, and construction techniques to provide clients with innovative solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the design and operations teams to ensure projects are executed to the client’s satisfaction and according to the agreed-upon budget and timeline.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and progress. Provide regular updates to management on sales performance and targets.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure a high level of client satisfaction throughout the sales process, offering exceptional customer service and handling any concerns or issues that arise.
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Professionalism: Maintain a high standard of professionalism in all client interactions, communications, and business practices.
- Self-Driven: Strong work ethic, self-starter, and ability to manage multiple projects and clients independently.
- Reliability: Ability to meet deadlines and follow through on commitments to clients and the company.
Independent Contractor Status: This is an independent contractor position, meaning you will be responsible for your own business operations, including taxes, insurance, and other business- related expenses. You will have the flexibility to set your own hours and work remotely, with meetings and consultations held at client locations or remotely as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience – Proven experience in sales, preferably in the home remodeling, construction, or real estate industries. A successful track record in sales and closing deals is highly preferred.

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of home remodeling processes, materials, and services is a plus but not required.
- Other: Must have reliable transportation to visit clients and job sites. A valid driver’s license is required.
Work Schedule:
Flexibility to salesperson to manage schedule. Independently responsible for scheduling meetings, consultations, and follow-ups with clients at times that work for both salesperson and clients, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
Compensation:
- Commission-Based Pay: As an independent contractor, your compensation will be based on commission from successful sales. Competitive commission structure based on the size and scope of the projects sold.
- Additional Incentives: Performance bonuses and incentives may be offered based on sales targets and achievements.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
