Apprentices can move up to an Installer position in 6-12 months. Check out our instagram: @shugarmansbath.com Our Services: Wet Area Remodeling (Showers, Tubs & Walk-in Tubs)Reports to: This position reports directly to Production Manager What You’ll Do: Job site preparation, including supply runs, preparing tools and materials, and setting up dust control and floor protection.Demolition of existing wet area.Haul debris and ensure proper disposal.Execute wet area remodel, including, but not limited to building walls, set shower pans/tubs, install glass, cut panels and install them to walls, etc).Perform carpentry work, including framing and other relevant tasks.Perform plumbing work, ensuring functionality and compliance with plumbing codes.Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure work environment.Ensure the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.You might be assigned to other duties as needed. What You Will Bring: To be an assistant installer you should have a baseline skills set that will allow you to learn the following:Carpentry | Plumbing | Framing | Light Electrical | Handyman Skills.Professional Drywall Patches.Soldering | P-Traps.Attention to detail.Excitement to work in a team-oriented environment.Strong organizational and time management skills.Great attendance and positive attitude.Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Outstanding customer service and communication skills.Why You'll Love Working With Us:Schedule: Work part-time while earning like a full-time employee—and even more!Supportive Team Environment: Work with a team that values collaboration, support, and a strong sense of community. We truly care about each other. Be Part of a Winning Team: Join a company recognized as the best in the industry.Growth Opportunities: start with an hourly rate of $18-22, become an installer and make $125,000 or more per year.Physical Demands and Abilities Needed:Regularly lift and/or move objects from 10-80 lbs at a constant pace.Occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.Able to bend, lift, push, pull and reach for up to 8 hours at a time.Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.What You Should Know:Compensation: DOE -  $18 - $22 per hour, based on experience.Paid WeeklyWeekly stipend to cover gas and toolsSchedule: 10-hour shifts, four days a weekfrom 7:00am to 5:30pmMonday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday3-day weekend every week. 8 paid holidays50 hrs of sick time401(k): Eligible to participate in the company 401(k) after 90 days!Insurance Plans: Access to company insurance plans; purchase health, dental and vision in with pre-tax dollars and at a lower rate.Medical Contribution: The Company will contribute 50% of the cost of the lowest plan. You will be required to drive your own vehicle to the job site.To become an Installer you will required to have a full-sized truck or van and own tools.The successful candidate will be subject to our pre-employment background screening process, including, but not limited to criminal background check, drug screening, and driving record check.
