Physical Therapist
Bath Community Hospital is a patient-focused small hospital in rural Virginia that offers excellent working conditions, a team environment, and opportunities for professional development. BCH is currently in search of a qualified Physical Therapist on a PRN basis. The Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing, and administering of physical therapy modalities of treatment
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities
- Delivery of services in a variety of settings; out patient clinic, hospital acute care inpatients, and hospital skilled nursing bed
- Effectively encourages patient, family and staff to participate in treatment program
- Accurately trains patient, family and staff according to the level of the learner using appropriate modalities
REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate from an approved school of Physical Therapy (required)
- Current Physical Therapy licensure in the State of Virginia (required)
- BLS (required) but can be obtained after hire
