Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary care, excellent communication skills, and a genuine love for animals. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring the well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians during examinations
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Perform diagnostic tests and radiographs
- Monitor and care for hospitalized patients
- Educate clients on pet care and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a veterinary clinic
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Proficiency in veterinary software and technology
