Forklift Operator - 1st Shift

Position Summary

The Forklift Operator is responsible for supplying materials from raw inventory to production lines, ensuring a steady workflow while maintaining safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

Shifts Available

• 1st Shift (7 am - 3:30 pm)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials throughout the facility
• Supply production lines with a steady flow of raw materials (top priority)
• Load and unload materials from conveyor systems
• Build, stack, band, and move pallets as needed
• Track and document materials accurately, including inventory updates
• Use RF scanners and warehouse systems when applicable
• Perform basic quality checks and report damaged or missing materials
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures

Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience required (sit-down/propane)
• Warehouse or production experience is strongly
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment

• Industrial warehouse setting with moderate to high noise levels
• Standing, lifting, and physical movement are required throughout the shift
• Overtime and schedule flexibility may be required
