Registered Nurse - Critical Care

Job Summary

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories to inform carry out diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions and immunizations, following strict aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
• Perform specialized procedures such as suturing, catheterization (including urinary and vascular), wound care, and tube feeding management.
• Monitor patients’ conditions continuously in acute care environments such as ICU, emergency rooms, or trauma centers; respond swiftly to changes in status.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously..
• Coordinate diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection, processing, and interpretation of results; utilize ICD coding for documentation accuracy.
• Provide patient education on health management strategies, medication administration, pain management techniques, and discharge planning to empower self-care.
• Collaborate with physicians and specialists in diverse fields such as cardiology, ophthalmology, infectious disease care, pediatrics, or behavioral health to optimize treatment outcomes

Experience

• Valid RN license in good standing with current state registration
• pediatric experience preferred

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
