Job Overview
The Robotics Technician will assist in troubleshooting and training of autonomous vehicle technologies. They will provide both remote and on-site technical support to the end users of our vehicles as needed. This position works directly with the Autonomous Vehicle Engineering Manager and various Toyota / Raymond Forklift dealerships. Additionally, they will provide vehicle and system integration support as needed.

Additionally, they will provide vehicle and system integration support as needed.
Job Functions
- Assists engineers in proto-typing, testing, assembly, and modifications of AGVs.
- Create technical instruction sheets.
- Able to read schematics.
- Have wiring, soldering, and fabrication skills.
- Test / Build lab Logistics and Support.
- Able to prepare and deliver technical reports.
- 50% overnight travel (Travel expenses paid by Bastian Solutions)
- Associates degree in Electrical Technology (or equivalent experience) a plus.
- Comfortable with tools of trade - Oscilloscopes, Volt meter.
- Working experience with Automation Industry technologies (PLC’s, Motors, Servos, Motor Controllers, Power Circuits, RFID, Encoders, Sensors etc.…)
- Basic understanding of electrical theory and circuit design.
- Effective at integrating off the shelf electrical component systems and or designing custom solutions as needed.
- Must be able to occasionally lift / move up to 70lbs.
- Must be eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship.
