Production Technician (3rd shift)

A Production Technician I will be responsible for assembling purchased and manufactured components per engineering drawings, standard visual inspection and other meeting additional specifications into a final product while meeting rigorous safety and quality standards. These will be assembled units for Material Handling Equipment projects.

Job Functions

• With guidance, maintain all documentation processing in a timely manner, with accuracy
• Read and follow standardized work and position instructions to assemble, inspect and prepare for shipping product with efficiency
• Rotate job assignments with department as needed; sign off on work performed for allocation purposes
• Communicate effectively with team members, attend all team meetings, and complete required trainings
• Ability to operate heavy duty equipment per safety protocols/procedures
• Maintain OSHA level safety protocols and follow safety protocols per JSA (Job Safety Analysis)
  
  

Position Expectations

• Must have a strong mechanical aptitude
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace
• Report any potential occurrences or delays to immediate Team Lead personnel
• Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player----taking direction when needed
• Perform 6S duties as required by the facility
  
  

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED is required; Technical certifications/trainings are encouraged
• Experienced in one or more of the following work environments: Assembly, Offline Assembly, Advanced Assembly
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. on a repetitive basis
