Position Summary
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, willing to learn, comfortable performing hands-on work, and able to work effectively as part of a team. This position involves a variety of shop, finishing, material-handling, packaging, and light assembly work.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow verbal and written work instructions, production procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Assist machinists, operators, and other production personnel with daily manufacturing activities.
- Perform general manual labor and material-handling duties throughout the facility.
- Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, and basic shop equipment safely and effectively.
- Package, label, and prepare finished parts and products for shipment or delivery.
- Safely load and unload materials, parts, equipment, and finished products.
- Assist with local deliveries and pickups as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Properly handle and store materials, tools, and equipment.
- Work cooperatively with team members to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous manufacturing, machine shop, fabrication, finishing, or general labor experience is a plus, but not required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic applied mathematics skills and solid mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and learn new processes.
- Ability to use basic hand and pneumatic tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team.
- Blueprint reading and interpretation experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Dependable work ethic and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a company vehicle for local deliveries, when required.

Candidates must be willing and able to work occasional overtime as needed to meet production requirements and maintain schedules.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
