Primary Work Activities
- Assemble and oversee bids for all types of projects including commercial, retail, public works, industrial, school, offices, and medical.
- Competitive Bid strategist
- Quantity take off of construction items, obtain subcontractor and material quotes.
- Conceptual estimating
Qualifications
- 5 years minimum experience working as an estimator for a GENERAL CONTRACTOR in the northeast.
- Experience with both PUBLIC and PRIVATE work a plus.
- Hands on field experience also a plus.
- BS in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering preferred. Related degrees accepted.
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing; computer skills are a must. Knowledge of Timberline Estimating Software a plus.

Compensation
- Salary will be AMAZING. It will be determined based on the candidate and what you bring to the table. Full comp package may be worth up to 50% or more of base salary.
