Duties
- Assist with food running and delivering orders efficiently from the kitchen to guests’ tables using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Support servers by bussing tables promptly, clearing dishes, and resetting tables for new guests.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to meet food safety standards.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, supplies, or equipment following safe lifting practices.
- Support food preparation activities in the kitchen as needed, including basic food handling and setup.
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold health regulations and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests to provide excellent in-person customer service and guest support.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn!
- Experience with food safety protocols, food handling, and basic kitchen tasks is advantageous.
- Prior banquet or large event service experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude are essential for delivering top-tier guest services.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and food running duties.
