We are a busy outpatient Medical practice in Old Bridge, NJ, dedicated to providing compassionate and high-quality care. We are looking for an organized, friendly, and detail-oriented Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our team in the next 1-2 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and assist with check-ins/check-outs.
- Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently.
- Verify patient insurance and manage prior authorizations.
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries professionally.
- Maintain accurate patient records in our electronic medical system.
- Assist with other front office tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a medical office preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with medical software or willingness to learn.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of managing prior authorizations is a plus.
