What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hardware Clerk position at Bassett's Market?
· Full or Part-time position
· Hours vary – must be available/flexible days, nights, weekends and holidays
· Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, key cutting, paint a plus
· Lift and stack product up to 50 pounds
· Unload merchandise – check in truck – receiver
· Is accountable for customer satisfaction
· Willingness to be creative, develop and increase sales in the department
· Knowledge of simple painting, plumbing, electrical & construction repairs
· Duties to include but not limited to stocking, lifting, filling orders
· Attention to detail and accuracy a must
· Must be a self-starter and be able to work unsupervised
· Must be detail oriented, and have excellent customer service and communication skills
· And other duties as assigned by store management
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
