Job description:
We are looking for experienced TIG Welders to join our outdoor furniture manufacturing team. This position is responsible for final welding aluminum furniture frames after they have been fabricated and tack welded. The right candidate must be able to produce clean, consistent welds while maintaining quality, strength, appearance, and production flow.
Job Responsibilities
The TIG Welder will perform final welding on aluminum outdoor furniture frames. This position requires strong attention to detail because weld quality affects both the structural strength and finished appearance of the product.
Daily duties may include:
- TIG welding aluminum furniture frames and components
- Performing clean, consistent final welds
- Welding around corners, joints, brackets, arms, legs, and support members
- Inspecting welds for quality, strength, consistency, and appearance
- Communicating fit-up issues to fabricators, tack welders, or supervisors
- Moving completed frames to the next production stage
- Keeping the work area clean, organized, and safe
Qualifications
Verifiable aluminum welding experience is required. Experience in outdoor furniture manufacturing TIG welding a plus.
Physical Requirements
This position requires standing for long periods, bending, reaching, lifting and moving aluminum frames, and working with welding equipment throughout the shift. Employees must be able to work safely around heat, sparks, sharp metal edges, noise, and normal manufacturing conditions.
Compensation
Pay based on experience and welding ability.
