Bassett is seeking a full-time remote Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for their Virtual Health Department with opportunity for on-site work if desired. Bassett Healthcare Network is a fully integrated health care system that provides care and services to people living in an eight county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York. The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school- based health centers, and health partners in related fields.
Bassett relies heavily on Advanced Practice Clinicians and continues to be on the forefront of allowing APC’s to work at the top of their license while valuing them as welcome members of the Medical Staff. As part of this effort, they have multiple APC’s in their leadership structure including the Medical Director of Telehealth overseeing this position. Job Description & Responsibilities
- Must possess NYS licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in good standing, with 4 years of NP/PA experience
- Experience in bariatric surgery and medical weight loss required
- Experience in Virtual Health care delivery preferred
- Knowledge of current Federal and State regulations regarding virtual health services preferred.
- This position requires a tech savvy practitioner flexible to shifting focus to different virtual health services based on network need
- Responsible for providing care for patients in all age groups for virtual care services, including but not limited to on demand acute visits with medical weight loss / bariatric patients, including but not limited to new and established medical weight loss patients, including preoperative and postoperative e-visits, transitions of care, remote patient monitoring
- Responsible for serving as “In basket Ninja” providing services to the bariatric / medical weight loss division
- The Virtual Health Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant will participate in projects that have Virtual Health implications by working with other operational areas throughout the organization
- This position requires access to high speed internet, a computer/laptop to conduct video visits and a “sterile environment” free of distractions and in private setting
- Salary Range: $104,040 - $131,664 plus performance-based compensation. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
