Job Description & Responsibilities
- Join an established group of 2 Surgeons and 1 Advanced Practice Clinician
- Responsibilities include clinic where you will see new and established patients, post-op visits, telemedicine, floor management of post-op patients, and first assisting in the OR
- No Neurosurgery call – General Surgical call is optional
- The Neurosurgery team- Bassett Medical Center has a strong relationship with the University of Rochester Medical Center and Columbia University for teaching, education, and resident involvement
- Previous surgical experience preferred but not essential
- Salary Range: $142,809 -$186,000. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief in the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, starting with competitive base pay which includes recognition for your experience, education, training and licensure. On-call is not a requirement, however if you decide to opt-in, there is potential for additional compensation
- Sign-on Bonus up to $75,000
- Hours include, but not limited to: Clinic hours typically run from 8:00-4:30, and OR days are variable with two-to-three occurrences per week.
- National Certification as a Physician Assistant.
- NYS Licensure
- BLS Certification Required
- DEA Required
