Previous Design and Sales experience is not required. Bassett offers Interior Design certification and training. Through one on one coaching and educational development, we will help you build relationships with customers to help them reflect their own personal sense of style. Bassett also continues your training throughout your employment with updates on product knowledge as well as Design and Sales Techniques.
Our designers have limitless earning potential; a designer’s earning expectations start at $50,000 typically run much higher based upon sales aptitude, client development and retention; include paid vacation and 401 program, and access to participate in our group health insurance program.
Position requirements are:
- Associate’s (2 year) degree or related field experience
- Demonstrated flair for design and/or fashion and room planning
- Desire to work in a commissioned sales environment
- Willingness to work most weekends and holidays
- Open mind to trying new techniques, learning technology and teamwork
