Delivery Driver – Flower Shop

Bassett Flowers is looking for a reliable and friendly delivery driver to join our team! This position plays an important role in helping us deliver beautiful floral arrangements and excellent customer service to our community.

Responsibilities:

• Safely deliver floral arrangements, plants, and gift items to homes, businesses, funeral homes, and event locations
• Handle flowers with care to ensure arrangements arrive in perfect condition
• Provide courteous and professional customer interactions during deliveries
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries
• Assist with general shop tasks as needed, including:
• Taking out garbage and recyclables
• Cleaning and processing fresh flowers
• Watering and maintaining outdoor plants
• Keeping the shop, work areas, and delivery area clean and organized
• Follow delivery routes and schedules efficiently
• Assist the team with other general duties as needed

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Comfortable driving a small delivery van or shop vehicle
• Ability to lift and carry arrangements and plants (up to ~30 lbs)
• Punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Friendly attitude and good communication skills
• Willingness to assist with both deliveries and general shop duties

Preferred (but not required):

• Previous delivery or customer service experience
• Familiarity with the local area
• Previous experience working in a flower shop, garden center, or similar environment

Position Details:

• Part-time / Full-time available
• Flexible weekday and weekend availability preferred
• Holiday availability required (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, etc.)
• Work is primarily performed in person at our flower shop and throughout the local delivery area
