Starting salary: $100,006.40 annually 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  Board Certified Behavioral Analyst OR otherwise qualified Masters level Behavioral Clinician.


SUPERVISED BY:    Executive Director


SUMMARY:      The Director of Behavioral Services oversees all clinical behavioral services within Bass River and provides supervision to support positions including behavioral associates.



MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Maintain a working knowledge of applicable clinical regulations including those promulgated by the Department of Developmental Services and Mass Health.
  2. Ensure that Bass River’s clinical practices are consistent with the requirements of its regulatory oversight and funding sources.
  3. Complete the assessments of all referrals and provide input on the clinical needs of individuals considered for program intake.
  4. Assist in the development of Interim Service Plans and complete Service Need Assessments, as well as develop behavioral and learning oriented services as part of the DayHab Service planning process.
  5. Participate in the development of DDS Service Plans as needed.
  6. Develop and implement all Behavior Support Plans to be based upon the recommendations and results of a Functional Behavioral Assessment.
  7. Ensure that the requirements to obtain consent for assessments and/or Behavioral Support Plans are met.
  8. Develop and administer the data systems necessary to track and report progress according to the requirements of Bass River’s regulatory oversight and funding sources.
  9. Provide reliability checks to assure the integrity of the data collected.
  10. Train Behavior Services Associates and all staff working with individuals with Behavioral Support Plans how to properly implement the plans as well as the associated data collection systems.
  11. Compile, analyze and interpret behavioral data to make programmatic decisions, service recommendations, and evaluate plan efficacy.
  12. Modify behavioral support plans as necessary.
  13. Supervise the activities of the Behavior Services Associates.
  14. Provide training, consultation, and role modeling to staff on best practices regarding interactions and relationship building with program participants.
  15. Foster a structured physical and social environment that promotes the treatment goals of each individual served by Bass River.
  16. Attend and actively participate in supervision and staff meetings.
  17. Provide treatment information and behavioral service outcomes through data analysis to be utilized in medical and psychiatric reviews as indicated.
  18. Driving individuals or agency vehicles as directed by supervisor as required.
