What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer 2026 Human Resources Intern position at Bass Pro Shops?
POSITION SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Support the full range of HR operational initiatives, ensuring completion of assigned tasks
Assist the Talent Acquisition team with onboarding activities
Assist the Learning & Development team through completion of enrollment and coordination of training programs
Coordinate and support the new hire feedback session process; documenting, summarizing and presenting feedback, action items and survey results
Support HR Business Partners through open position requisition preparation, process documentation and organization chart generation
Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Education Required: Completion of Junior year of college through graduating year.
- Minimum GPA: 3.0
- Preferred Major:
- Available for full commitment of 10-week program (40 hours/week)
- Currently enrolled in accredited college or university in pursuit of bachelor’s degree in related field
- Eligible to work in the US
- Ability to relocate to work location for the duration of the program
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Travel required varies based on internship, minimal.
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
- Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor. Limited opportunity exists for exercising independent judgment and decision making.
