Inventory Control Clerk

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Inventory Control Clerk performs data entry and clerical duties. This role performs duties related to the ordering, receiving, storing, and the issuing of inventory materials (parts and supplies) for the manufacturing facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Analyzes and summarizes numerical information and critically examine for accuracy. 
• Performs administrative functions such as data entry, filing, and maintaining detailed records.
• Inputs and accesses inventory data through a computerized management information system.
• Checks the accuracy of computer printouts, reports, and calculations. Ensures that work is carried out to specification.
• Compiles, classifies, collates, and organizes information. Maintains electronic, paper records and reports. 
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Degree Required:  High School Diploma or Equivalent Degree
• Preferred Degree:  Associates degree in business related field
• Experience: One year in general clerical and inventory record keeping.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

• Proficient at Ten key with computer data entry experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting practices and principles.
• Proficient in MS office Suite.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
