What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grinding Booth operator position at Bass Pro Shops?
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Grinding Booth Operator is responsible for products received from demolding and responsible for providing the Assembly Joining team high quality and low-cost decks, hulls, and small parts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Shear cuts and drills hulls for customer component installations.
- Cuts consoles and ensures all box openings are ground to customer specifications. Hulls must be shear cut and have the appropriate plumbing outlets drilled.
- Grounds hulls to customer specifications. Hulls must be free of burrs and cleaned before moving part to next area.
- Keeps work area clean, safe, and hazard free
- Helps push mold into booth
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
- Ability to work as a Team
- Ability for rapid mental and muscular Depth perception
- Coordination simultaneously
