What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Server (Seasonal) position at Bass Pro Shops?
POSITION SUMMARY: The server is responsible for providing exceptional dining experience by delivering high-quality service, anticipating guests’ needs, and ensuring accuracy in food and beverage orders. Servers must be knowledgeable about the menu, ingredients, and pairings to provide recommendations and enhance the guest experience.
This is a seasonal opportunity from March - December.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide exceptional guest experience by greeting guests warmly, anticipating their needs, and ensuring a memorable dining experience.
Maintain a clean & organized dining experience by following the proper etiquette and steps of service.
Serving guests via multiple service styles such as buffet, plated, and/or taking orders into a POS system and communicating special requests and allergies to the lead and culinary team.
Upsell and recommend enhancing the guest experience and increasing sales.
Work as a team player by collaborating with hosts, server assistants, bartenders, and culinary staff to ensure seamless service
Follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum of 18 years of age.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
Excellent attention to detail and guest-first mindset.
Handling payments and POS transactions.
